As a new author, I have read many other writers' books on writing style. I have learned a great deal, but I am also finding each of us has our own writing style, which is why literature is so fun. Each book you pick up and read reflects a different personality, a different culture, a diversity within the written word.

My work might turn out not to be your style, and I am okay with that. I do ask if you have a moment. Drop me a word to let me know why you did or did not enjoy one of my stories. I strive for improvement in every edit, but I tend to get caught up in my own worlds and forget the outside one as a writer.

Did I miss crucial information about a character? Not enough dialogue, too much dialogue? Was the plot enticing? Did it hold you, did it leave you wanting more, or did you find yourself thinking, "Ho-hum, I will pass on the next one." I take criticism well, as long as it is not abusive. Share with me your thoughts so I can strive to improve with each novel I publish. There is a lot of time, energy, and money that goes into this, so I want you to become a fan, as I am a fan of the writing process.
